Island nations that consider themselves on front lines climate change had hoped U.S. other regional powers like Australia would stay committed deal cut emissions help populations confront rising seas around them. But they didn’t as a result island turned towards China, Beijing vowed Paris Climate Agreement. paper dealt power play perspective focused future equation China.
